I’ve always used a bin like this one where the students and I (let’s be honest… mostly me 😂) could put items that were left on the floor.![]()

That way we would have a place to put all those loose items that went unclaimed, and students who realized they were missing something had a place to look. ✨![]()

I guess it’s basically a more organized “lost and found” for the classroom. 😁![]()

This impromptu “raise your hand” positive behavior chart isn’t pretty, fancy, or cute. But it gets the job done of helping to remind a student to raise their hand instead of shout out. When the student fills the chart with stars, they earn extra time playing math games.![]()

I know this isn’t a genius idea and I’m sure many of you do something similar for various situations, but this is my way of reminding myself that not everything has to be Instagram-worthy or super cutesy. Sometimes the best ideas are the not-so-cute ones 🤪![]()
